<p>Stitch, more accurately referred to as exercise-related transient abdominal pain (ETAP), is a sharp, stabbing pain that people often experience when exercising. Despite its overwhelming prevalence across different sports, researchers do not really understand why this side ache or muscle stitch occurs.
