When A Stranger Calls (2006)

<p>Jill is at a babysitting gig in the middle of nowhere Colorado when she starts getting increasingly disturbing phone calls. The police tell her they can't do anything other than track the call which—you guessed it—ends up coming from<em> inside</em> the house. This is the film that answers the question: What would happen if we took that awesome, near flawless opening from the same 1979 film starring Carol Kane, and turned it into a feature-length film? Does it work? Well, a little yes, and a little no.
