U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley says the confirmation hearing for U.S. Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson was off to a good start. Grassley is the top Republican on the committee. At the statehouse, House Republicans are proposing a new $12 million scholarship program at Iowa’s public universities. Plus, the Mason City School Board approved the Student Senate's recommendation to rename its mascot the “River Hawks.”
