Thoughts on Forgiveness

<p>What does it mean to you when you forgive yourself? </p> <p> </p> <p>It can be difficult to ask for forgiveness during dark moments, especially when we still feel hurt by the other party. However, once we have done the work to forgive someone, we should also ask ourselves if we have forgiven ourselves. Work inward and outward. We need to examine how we handled the situation and whether we may have made another mistake by not forgiving ourselves. If we feel embarrassed about our actions, we should consider that situation a learning experience and move forward. So, when you ask for forgiveness, remember that God has already forgiven you.
