The Water Gun

<p>My all-time favorite story my Dad used to tell me was about his ill-fated water gun. As the story goes, he was given a water gun and was told not to shoot it in the house OR especially his mother. Well, that's the first thing he did, squirt his mother. Upon warning him repeatedly, my grandmother finally told him, if you spray me one more time, you'll never see that gun again. Well...</p> <p><br></p> <p>Let's just say the gun was taken and pitched into the attic of their house. Although tragic for a three-year-old boy, that event gave our family years of comic relief, and this may sound weird, helped us through many tough times.</p> <p><br></p> <p>I placed a water gun in the attic of my house and didn't say anything about it.
