The Road to Jerusalem

They were led by the glory of God in a pillar of cloud and fire. The same glory of God willed the temple during Solomon's dedication. But God's glory left Israel and the Babylonians destroyed the temple. In the eleventh century Christendom invaded Jerusalem trying to find the glory of God. Jesus came to Jerusalem as the glory of God on earth, and He is building a new temple, the church, that will be prepared for His Second Coming.
