Supporting student research

Standards cover an extraordinarily wide range of issues. Some modernize established practice, while others work on the leading edge of emerging technologies. They get their authority by being developed through a rigorous consultation process which builds an expert consensus. To enrich its understanding, BSI often incorporates research into its standards strategies and standards development processes, including research at postgraduate level.
