<p>The Supernatural Today 2</p> <p> </p> <p>There are many people that say we do see the supernatural power of God as it was seen before in the bible days and in the early church but the truth is this, the supernatural acts of God are still happening today. So, if you are one of those who think God has put a pause or a complete stop entirely on the supernatural, don’t worry you are not alone. </p> <p> </p> <p>Judg. 6: 14-14 NLT</p> <p>12 The angel of the Lord appeared to him and said, “Mighty hero, the Lord is with you!”13 “Sir,” Gideon replied, “if the Lord is with us, why has all this happened to us? And where are all the miracles our ancestors told us about? Didn’t they say, ‘The Lord brought us up out of Egypt’? But now the Lord has abandoned us and handed us over to the Midianites.”14 Then the Lord turned to him and said, “Go with the strength you have, and rescue Israel from the Midianites. I am sending you!”</p> <p><br></p> <p>Gideon was going through a very difficult period in his life just as the nation of Israel was going through very hard times because of the Midianites that kept raiding their land at will. Gideon had an angelic visitation and as the angel gave him this heavenly message, Gideon was quick to tell this heavenly messenger that he wasn’t impressed by God and how he felt God was treating them as a people. He said to the angel, “Yes, God had been involved in their lives sometime in the past but as far as he was concerned God now had abandoned them. As of today, His supernatural interventions and miracles are no longer a reality”.</p> <p> </p> <p>A lot of people are like Gideon today and understandably so. They believe God used to do mighty things in people’s lives before, especially the Israelites but as of today, 2021, we are on our God is not doing those kinds of things again.
