This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining us for this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.</p> <p> </p> <p>Father God in the name of Jesus, we give you glory. We give you praise and we honor your name. We thank you, God, that for this season of Thanksgiving, that our country has set aside a national day of thanks. And how thankful we are in our hearts and our minds for all of the things that you have blessed us with.</p> <p> </p> <p>And we thank you, God, that your work commands us to give thanks in all things .For this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning us. So we set our hearts and our minds in the posture of Thanksgiving. And we thank you for your many blessings upon our lives. We thank you for our relationships that we have with family and one another.</p> <p> </p> <p>We thank you God, for all of the possibilities that we have to impact and change our world. We thank you God, in the name of Jesus that we live in a country of free speech. That we are able to express ourselves in our religion and our belief systems without the fear or repercussions. And oh what a great privilege it is to worship you in spirit and in truth.</p> <p> </p> <p>And for that, we thank you. We give you glory. We give you praise. For the things that you're doing in our lives. Your hand has been great up on our lives and though we have gone through some difficult times this year. We set our hearts and our minds just to say, thank you .And God, not for those difficult times, but in everything.Glory be to Go
