Australia has undergone a revolution in how we talk about many crimes and disorders. Despite the new openness, discussing incestuous abuse and the condition it can trigger, dissociative identity disorder, remains largely taboo. So what, if anything, do we know about its prevalence? And how do its victims live with the trauma?
