What do you do when your dynamic has become “every day”. The pull of the normative is strong. For those of us who have lived in non-normative relationships for years, and have spent years developing our relationship(s) it can be easy for our brains to fall into a normative mindset. AKA…the new normal. That’s when a lot of “shoulds” and “should nots” creep into our psyche.
