Repentance Validates Baptism

John the baptizer showed the absolute need for repentance. "Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance." Matthew 3:8 It is important to remember that we did not call ourselves to the truth, it was God's mercy extended to us at this time. We must have the spirit of obedience. Jesus saved His people from their sins, not in their sins. This is a great review of how repentance goes hand in hand with baptism.
