Pentecost was the day the church was born some two thousand years ago when the Spirit filled a small group meeting in an upper room. Pentecost is not a one-time event, but a reminder to receive the Spirit daily. Pentecost empowers Christians to fulfil God’s mission, to experience abundant life, and to overflow with love.
