Journalism. The industry remains in a decade-long state of constant disaster, beginning prior to the pandemic. In response to Sebastian's critique in our latest bonus episode, Ryan provides his 12 rebuttals on why the industry continues to go into decline, how it functions and what is being done to usurp the established order; he also added his defense for schlock (it's not as Tommy Wiseau as you think). It only gets worse as news about a recent Digital Millennium Copyright Act adjustment, with thanks to Sen. Thomas Tillis (R-NC), can totally shatter the world of content creation as we know it. Cramming this into an omnibus bill is cowardly; you are making us laugh, Mr. Tillis.

We will be going on a brief hiatus for the next month working on our own media projects, respectively and together, which we will delve into in Season 2. Don't fret, the journey to Mars will begin again soon enough.

To hear how this discussion started, check out the last bonus episode of Season 1.

Social media:

Mars on Life: @marsonlifeshow on Twitter and Instagram

Sebastian Schug: @drsebby (Instagram) and Seabass on YouTube

Ryan Mancini: @mancinira (Twitter) and @manciniryan (Instagram)

Artwork by Zachary Erberich (@zacharyerberichart)

"Space X-plorers" Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com)
Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 4.0 License
http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/
--- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/mars-on-life-show/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/mars-on-life-show/support
