George Birge

<p>George Birge is a Country Music singer/songwriter and former member of Waterloo Revival. George joins Country Music Made Me to discuss how his Dad's journey of moving from Brazil to America as a kid helped shape the families love of Country Music, how he developed a singing voice by belting out tunes along with the radio, and what Garth Brooks song inspired his early love of song writing. George and Brendan talk about the friendship he formed with Cody Cooper in Middle School and the musical journey that led to a call from Nashville and a successful career built around their band "Waterloo Revival". Finally, George explains why he left the band in 2021, where his career was headed, and what it was like when his song "Beer, Beer, Truck, Truck" exploded on TikTok and led him down a path towards a career as a solo artist.</p>
