Forrester's

This week we visited a Surry Hills staple, Forrester's. Established in 1921 this neighbourhood calling card has been given a facelift by hospitality giants Applejack. Known for the likes of SoCal and The Butler, we expected to see some beautiful spaces and a well designed drinks menu, both which the middle bar Phylli’s delivered. Decorated in fresh greenery and terracotta toned murals, with a menu taking inspiration from the Americas, this is really a step up. In the rest of the venue they have tried to stay true to it origins, keeping the public bar and salon as is, with craft beer, Aussie wines and $10 Steak night. Forrester really does have something for everyone.
