<p>Today’s guest deejay is <a href="https://www.discogs.com/artist/453994-Dan-Handrabur" title="Dan Handrabur">Dan Handrabur</a>.</p> <p>Dan record and performs under many names: <a href="https://www.discogs.com/artist/365574-Dreamdoktor" title="Dreamdoktor">Dreamdoktor</a>, <a href="https://www.discogs.com/artist/1334-Dreamlogic" title="Dreamlogic">Dreamlogic</a>, and <a href="https://www.discogs.com/artist/46125-HAN" title="HAN">HAN</a>. I know him as <a href="https://www.discogs.com/artist/9861-Vuemorph" title="Vuemorph">Vuemorph</a>, from the excellent <em><a href="https://www.discogs.com/master/392210-Various-From-Here-To-Tranquility-Volume-3" title="From Here To Tranquility Volume 3">From Here To Tranquility Volume 3</a></em> compilation album.</p> <p>During the summer, I looked over the remainder of the schedule for Soundwave for 2022. There were a few slots open, and I decided to do retrospective mixes featuring music from the <em><a href="https://www.discogs.com/label/874546-Ambient-Dub" title="Ambient Dub">Ambient Dub</a></em>, <em><a href="https://www.discogs.com/label/436102-Excursions-In-Ambience" title="Excursions In Ambience">Excursions In Ambience</a></em>, and <em><a href="https://www.discogs.com/label/882282-From-Here-To-Tranquility" title="From Here To Tranquility">From Here To Tranquility</a></em> compilation albums. Re-listening those albums inspired me to invite the musicians who appeared on those albums to guest deejay on Soundwave. Dan was the first to send me a mix, which I’m thrilled to share on today’s show. You can expect to hear those mixes in the next few months.</p> <p>Despite knowing Dan from Vuemorph, I had no preconceptions about what Dan’s mix would sound like.
