Hello Friends! Join Donna and Paula as they chat with Stephanie Ryann!

Be sure to check out the interview on YouTube

Stephanie Ryann is a singer and songwriter whose music bridges the gap between country, folk and pop. Often compared to the likes of Miranda Lambert and Maren Morris, her “storytelling” writing style and unique sound sets her apart from other country artists on the scene. Ryann’s upcoming single, “I Should”, releases on October 9th 2020 and features the most personal and honest lyrics Ryann has written and recorded to date. The lyrics showcase society’s version of “success”, that of which Ryann has no intention of following.

While COVID-19 shut down most of the music industry, Ryann took the opportunity to hone her songwriting skills and teach herself guitar, which lead to the creation of her COVID-inspired single, “Nights Like These” (co-written by Ryann and Scott Kurt and produced by Brent Rader in Nashville, TN). “Nights Like These” is currently Ryann’s most streamed song to date on Spotify. Ryann’s music has been featured on numerous music blogs, publications and radio stations, including interviews and performances on iHeart Radio 94.7 WDSD with Benny for “Nashville’s Next” and on New York’s Country 94.7 with Jesse Addy. According to Patrick L. at Southern Fellow, “Stephanie Ryann doesn’t just flirt with country music. She goes straight for the soul of it.”

The 33 year old from Westchester County (NY) is no stranger to the music industry, spending most of her late teens and early 20’s auditioning for tv shows such as American Idol, Nashville Star, and The Voice to assist in jumpstarting her career. Ryann got her start in country music in 2016 with the help of her co-writer Kevin Totoian and producer Randy Funke, both of whom made it possible to release her debut, self-titled EP in October 2018. Since then, Stephanie Ryann has released a “Summer Series” of songs, including “Home”, “Travelers” (co-written and produced by Eliot Le
