Confidentiality. We need to protect our identity. Unfortunately, we live in a world where some companies get hacked, and those hackers release our information, which can result in ID theft. It is up to the companies to find ways to protect any info, whether they are online or in hardcopy. Lawsuits filed for compensation against companies are horrendous because of their negligence or intent to release information without notice.
