Your Sure Investment _ Pt 7

<p>Thursday 7th January 2020</p> <p><br></p> <p>Hello and a lovely Thursday to you the name of Jesus, we are still talking about Your Sure Investment. There is a place of security for your life and all that is important to you in God. In a world full of uncertainty, it's wise to know where our treasure will be secured, the best place for our treasures both now and in the time to come.</p> <p><br></p> <p><br></p> <p>Mark 10:28-30(NLT)&nbsp;</p> <p>Then Peter began to speak up. “We’ve given up everything to follow you,” he said. “Yes,” Jesus replied, “and I assure you that everyone who has given up house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or property, for my sake and for the Good News, &nbsp;will receive now in return a hundred times as many houses, brothers, sisters, mothers, children, and property—along with persecution. And in the world to come that person will have eternal life".</p> <p><br></p> <p>From the story of the rich young ruler we read yesterday, he wanted to secure his future. When Jesus told him the demand, he was sad because he saw it a risky and a loss he didn't understand the reality of the secure treasures in heaven. He misunderstood what Jesus was saying, he felt he had to be poor to follow Jesus and have eternal life.</p> <p><br></p> <p><br></p> <p>See what happened, His disciples asked Him what they had to gain seeing they had left everything to follow Him.&nbsp;</p> <p><br></p> <p>Jesus responded to them saying " I can guarantee you, that it's not for nothing. I want to assure you that everyone who has given up everything for me, will receive the rewards now in this world, 100 times much more houses, relationship, property etc. is that you will receive much more 100 times, much more in this world is that. When this begin to happen, people will notice and it will result in prosecution, people will begin to say, all sorts of things about you..</p> <p>But that's all, you will also have much more in this world.</p> <p><br></p> <p>That is what we mean by a Sure Investment.</p>
