Young black woman asks Lizzo to show class - racist media attacks her relentlessly

<p>When <a href="https://www.instagram.com/charriselane/">@charriselane</a> spoke up against the disturbing imagery being promoted of <a href="https://www.instagram.com/explore/tags/blackwomen/">#blackwomen</a> in music, racist media went on the attack.<br> <br> But as my therapist/professor wife, <a href="https://www.instagram.com/coachingwithdralicia/">@coachingwithdralicia</a> explained on our podcast, the <a href="https://www.instagram.com/explore/tags/blackwoman/">#Blackwoman</a> has always been promoted in the mammy and jezebel stereotypes.<br> <br> Nobody speaks against <a href="https://www.instagram.com/explore/tags/lizzo/">#Lizzo</a>'s right to be loved as an obese woman, but to promote obesity as "body positivity" is to literally promote death in the black community.<br> <br> In fact, of the top 10 causes of DEATH among <a href="https://www.instagram.com/explore/tags/blackpeople/">#blackpeople</a>, at least 4 of them are related to OBESITY.</p> <p><br></p>
