You Can't Get There From Here - Video

Have you ever asked for directions from someone and gotten the most difficult instructions you have ever heard? Sometimes. when asking, there may even be two people talking at the same time offering directions. You go down here for two lights, or is it three and make a right…or maybe it is a left. Then you go straight past the mall, or is it a movie theater and you turn at the blinking light, or it may be just a stop sign….finally you might get the, “You can’t get there from here.” That is exactly what Satan would have you to think as you move toward God. The man in this story is paralyzed and can’t get to where Jesus is teaching nearby because he can’t walk. His friends take him but they can’t get in the front door due to the crowd. The crowd won’t move to let them in because they want to see Jesus. His friends take him to the roof where they have to take off the roof. The friends have to get rope to let him down. If this man and his friends had stopped at any of these obstacles, he would still be paralyzed. But they didn’t stop. If you don’t overcome obstacles, obstacles will overcome you. Satan Says you can’t get there from here, God says, I am the Way.
