Carlos Sims Jr. is the owner &amp; operator of <a href="//happyhomecoffee.com">Happy Home Coffee Roasters</a> based out of Fenton, MI (soon to be Hilo, Hawai'i!). Happy Home is a family-centric, faith-centric, black-owned coffee roasting business whose mission is to "Cultivate Joy and Belonging". We talk about Carlos' journey from the hospitality industry, to the cafe scene, to taking the dive into his own business venture while being a husband and a father of three! All you need to know about our friend Carlos: When I asked him what he had to compromise on when launching the business (sleep, time with family, tight budget), he said "NO COMPROMISES."
