Beloved, the MADNESS continues! I will be sharing an excerpt from an article that promotes the false doctrine "eternal security," not to mention how they cherry-pick and isolate Scripture. Read this: "Once you are saved, you are always saved, and that applies even if you stop believing altogether (2 Timothy 2:13), as believing false religions/false doctrine is a work of the flesh (Galatians 5:19-20) which any believer is susceptible to." By the Holy Spirit, we will delve into the Scriptures that picks apart this heretical teaching. This false doctrine teaches that "Jesus paid for all of your sins. Once He saves you, He doesn't need your help keeping you saved. It's not a cooperative effort. He either does it all from start to finish, or you are your own savior. Grace is completely nullified if it requires any work on your end." This is a direct quote from that article! It is madness to even think that there is no cooperative effort on our part to work out our salvation with fear and trembling! But Paul warns us: "He will render to each one according to his works: to those who by patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will give eternal life; but for those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, there will be wrath and fury" (Romans 2:6-8). And this is what we have been tackling these past few weeks. That proponents of this doctrine of devils are saying that there is nothing you can do to forfeit, lose, or give up your salvation.
