You Are More Than a Body

<p>How do you feel about your body? We live in a world that prizes a narrow body ideal, and it is easy to find our own perceptions of ourselves swayed by this view. In this episode, we discuss the brilliant body image work of Lexie and Lindsay Kite in their book, <em>More Than a Body</em>. We discuss how we can leave the waters of self objectication, where we experience the world through an outsider’s perspective of our bodies, onto the firm land of embodiment, where we can truly experience life IN our bodies, through&nbsp; our own experience of them.
