"Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead" (Acts 17:30-32). Let's be clear, God takes no pleasure in the death of wicked people. He only wants them to turn from their wicked ways so they can live (see Ezekiel 33:11). He has demonstrated this love by sending His Son Jesus to this earth to die for the sins of the people. But what most preachers (primarily false preachers) don't teach on, is the wrath of God! We should fear the LORD, not in phobia, but in a healthy way, whereby, we fear His righteous judgment and thus, live lives of holy repentance; being grateful we have been snatched from the kingdom of darkness! We shouldn't want to be eternally separated from Him in the Lake of Fire! We walk in the fear of the LORD because we respect His holy and righteous commands! You must understand, GOD AIN'T PLAYING WITH US! The Bible warns us in Hebrews 10: "26 If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, 27 but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God." "30...The Lord will judge his people. 31 It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God." OH YES MY FRIEND, IT SURELY IS!
