Wizkid breaks silence after losing Grammys to Angelique Kidjo

<p>Nigerian superstar, Wizkid has broken silence after losing two Grammy nominations.</p>, <p>Recall that Wizkid’s ‘Made In Lagos’ lost in the category of Best Global music album to Angelique Kidjo’s ‘Mother Nature’</p>, <p>His popular song ‘Essence’ also did not win the Best Global music performance.</p>, <p>This has generated reactions as some Nigerians queried why the recording academy failed to recognise Essence.</p>, <p>But, Wizkid, while reacting via his Instagram page, congratulated Angelique Kidjo on her win.</p>, <p>He wrote: “Love to my brother, a true King @realblackcoffee and Queen @angeliquekidio for the wins and for consistently shining light to the continent.</p>, <p>“African music rising.”</p>
