Winter Storm Warning Tonight & Tomorrow; Progressive Pattern & Colder Over Weekend& Next Week; Most Wx Activity Stays South

<p>Winter Storm Warning tonight and tomorrow with 4” to 8”+ heavy wet snow potential mainly north I-70.  Today a storm system will move out of the 4 Corners region and southern Colorado this evening and tonight and across northwest Kansas tomorrow.  Afternoon temps today will be in the upper 30’s to low 40’s, clouds will be on the increase and snow showers will develop and move out of Colorado overnight with lows dropping into the upper 20’s. Tomorrow snow heavy at times will fall along the highway 34/36 and I-70 corridors in the Tri-state area with heaviest to the north, NNE winds will increase and temps will hover in upper 20’s and low 30’s. Thursday and Saturday will be an in between day with a couple additional systems Friday evening / overnight and Sunday night bringing chance for some additional minor light snow with main tracks further south in Oklahoma and Texas.              </p>
