Don’t get me wrong: I love my husband, and I love the features he and my daughter share. From day one, it’s been easy to see that they both have blue eyes, they have the same smile — she’s definitely his daughter. But for some reason, every time someone pointed that out to me right after she was born, it totally stung, and I have a feeling I’m not the only mom who feels that way.
