<p>There is something strange you find when you study the early Stoics. Not <a href='https://dailystoic.com/marcus-aurelius/?utm_source=convertkit&amp;utm_medium=convertkit&amp;utm_campaign=your-own-writing'>Marcus Aurelius</a> and <a href='https://dailystoic.com/seneca/?utm_source=convertkit&amp;utm_medium=convertkit&amp;utm_campaign=your-own-writing'>Seneca</a> and <a href='https://dailystoic.com/epictetus/?utm_source=convertkit&amp;utm_medium=convertkit&amp;utm_campaign=your-own-writing'>Epictetus</a>, but the Stoics who influenced them.
