We can't keep playing with our salvation as if Christ Jesus did not pay a huge price for our deliverance and bondage from sin (STUDY ROMANS 6)! "Let everyone who names the Name of the Lord depart from iniquity" (2 Timothy 2:19)! What we will be addressing today, is why some claim to be born-again, but are allowing themselves to remain in deliberate, habitual, knowing sin! TOTALLY DISREGARDING JESUS' COMMAND IN JOHN 8:11 to "GO, AND SIN MORE." Beloved, we could LITERALLY destroy our souls FOR ALL ETERNITY by living according to the ways and superficial values of this Christ-rejecting world. I know the delectables ("the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life" - study 1 John 2:15-17) of this world may be enticing, but we must put away all wickedness! The #1 problem with the false doctrine of "once saved / always saved," is that it goes against the direct commandments of Jesus! Jesus says, "But unless you repent, you too shall all likewise perish" (Luke 13:3, 5). But the apostate "Bishop" says, all you have to do is "believe" in Jesus because living clean and holy (producing fruit in keeping with your repentance) are "works unto salvation!" SMH! And so what happens? People who want this godless world (serving two masters), their pet sins, and safety from Hell's fire (through Christ's death, burial and resurrection), will ALWAYS heap upon themselves apostates who lull them into a fairy tale: that you can live HOWEVER you want and you'll still go to Heaven! The Lord Jesus Christ tells us in John 10:27-28 EXACTLY to whom He will give eternal life to, and it is not to the one who does not listen, nor follow, nor obey His comm
