<p>Veteran music executive, Dayo Adeneye, aka D1, has said it’s now difficult for artists to make conscious music because of the level of moral decadence in this generation.</p>, <p>Speaking in the latest episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast, D1 said conscious music would not be commercially successful in today’s world.</p>, <p>He said, “Right now, the world is not ready to listen to anything conscious. Is it this generation that doesn’t know their gender that you want to preach conscious lyrics to?</p>, <p>“Today, someone with beards would tell you, ‘I’m Linda’. Is it that kind of person you want to preach conscious lyrics to?”</p>, <p>He also said a lot of women of this age are materialistic.</p>, <p>D1 said most ladies nowadays only bring their bodies to the table when it comes to relationships which makes men not to see any value in them beyond sex.</p>
