Why China won't end COVID lockdowns

While in Australia we're now learning to live with COVID, that's not the case in China.  For more than a month, dozens of cities including Shanghai have endured strict and at times bizarre lockdowns, as authorities battle to contain an outbreak of Omicron, and the capital, Beijing, could be next.
