Why Can’t NZ Cope In A Wet Gale?
Ruth Dorcas
Description

Our rates (property taxes) have been diverted into Agenda 21 Sustainable Development projects and not into proper stormwater infrastructure, underground power cables and suitable stormproof internet services throughout New Zealand.

Your taxes are being wasted on cycleways and coloured paved footpaths in the CBDs where parking to cater for business once abounded.

In the old days, every road in New Zealand came with a massive open storm drain on either side of it. Over the last 40 years these "storm drains" were deemed ugly and replaced with roading that will not adequately divert stormwater away from roading to avoid undermining and slips.

The opinions expressed here are mine.

Grant Edwards

libertyNZ@yandex.com
