Who Are the Priests? | February 22, 2022

<p>Because of Jesus, we no longer need a priest to represent us to God. In fact, as believers, Jesus has made us priests, who can come bodly into God's presence.</p> <p><strong>Key Verses:</strong></p> <p>Hebrews 9:12</p> <p><strong>12&nbsp;</strong>With his own blood—not the blood of goats and calves—he entered the Most Holy Place once for all time and secured our redemption forever.</p> <p>Hebrews 4:14-16</p> <p><strong>14&nbsp;</strong>So then, since we have a great High Priest who has entered heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to what we believe. <strong>15&nbsp;</strong>This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin. <strong>16&nbsp;</strong>So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.</p> <p>1 Peter 2:9</p> <p>But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.</p> <p><br></p>
