When Do You Give Up On a Dream?

<p>There comes a time in every High Performer's life where we think, <strong>"Is all of this really worth it? Should I just go back to what I know and what has worked in my life? Is this ever going to happen?".</strong></p> <p>As High Performers, we dream <strong>BIG!</strong></p> <p>We want to change the world for the better and <strong>make an IMPACT!</strong></p> <p>With that, comes uncertainty at times.</p> <p>In this lesson, I am going to share with you my thoughts on when to give up on a dream.</p> <p><u><strong>Here are the questions to ask yourself...</strong></u></p> <p><strong>Prayer/Affirmation #1 - </strong><em>“If these steps are aligned with the dream and for my higher good, increase my passion for them. If these steps are not aligned with the dream or do not benefit myself and others, then please redirect me.”</em></p> <p><strong>Prayer/Affirmation #2 - </strong><em>“Could it be that these particular steps are not aligned with my dream, but that there is a different direction for me to take to serve the dream and live the life I am imagining?”</em></p> <p>The biggest question to ask yourself in these times is <em><strong>"What makes me come alive?"</strong></em></p> <p>Remember Howard Thurman's quote: <strong>"Don't do what you think the world needs, do what makes you come alive!
