What does love mean to people?</p> <p><br></p> <p>Like we said earlier, so much is being said about love, a lot of songs about love, so many movies about love, so many novels about love, so many things about love, yet, so many people feel unloved and so many are love starved. There seem to be an overdose of this thing called “love” in our world, yet a lot of people don't feel loved. Why? Probably because there a misconception about this thing called LOVE.</p> <p><br></p> <p>We've been talking about love in different ways in the last few days, through what we hear in our songs, what we read in our novels and what we watch in movies. The media, whether it's the print or electronic has contributed a lot to what most people call love.&nbsp;</p> <p><br></p> <p>That's where most of us got our first introduction to this thing called love, and if what we got is the wrong concept of love then we set up ourselves for unnecessary heartaches.&nbsp;</p> <p><br></p> <p>One of the things I heard about love back then is that 'love is blind'. Meaning you should not see when you're in love, you don't see anything, all you see is good, you don't see bad.</p> <p><br></p> <p>If you remember the bible story of Jacob. He loved this girl Rachel and he told her father "I want to marry this girl". Her father asked him to work seven years for him and he could have her as his wife. As a result of his love for Rachel, he completed the seven years and Laban gave him his wife. Jacob was so excited about marrying the love of his life, he didn’t think he needed to look at this lady before taking her home, after all he was in love and he now had his dream wife.
