What their anger about ‘Go Home’ reveals

<p>In 2019 at the Truth Matters conference, there was a panel Q&amp;A. Moderator Todd Friel of Wretched Radio ended the session with a sort of lightning round, by asking John MacArthur to respond to the some names with one or two words only. Friel said, “Beth Moore” and famously, MacArthur’s reply was “Go home”. A firestorm erupted then and again this week as Moore revived it. She said saying such was mocking her and she deserved an apology.</p> <p>Why is it <em>ridicule </em>to tell a woman to go home? Why is it <em>derision </em>to say so?
