For someone who values the glory and honor of God Himself, propitiation brings great joy. It is the means by which God's own righteousness is upheld. Not only is His righteousness upheld, it is upheld righteously. By means of the blood of Jesus Christ on the cross, propitiation is accomplished. The holy character of God is vindicated thereby freeing God to be able to freely and righteously provide His grace and salvation to each one of us.
