It was like a switch in my brain flipped. I was ready to leave clinical medicine. It was time for the next chapter.</p> <p>Wow! It was a moment of surprise, relief, and excitement, quickly followed by a WTF? Where was this thought coming from? There was no “maybe I should consider a change.” I was so sure that I was ready to leave that I was concerned. What was happening?
