What Is IRMAA and How to Avoid It

<p>If your income is above certain thresholds leading up to or in retirement, you may be required to pay a higher amount for your Medicare parts B and D. This charge is known as IRMAA, or Income Related Monthly Adjustment Amount, and can increase what you pay for Medicare.
