<p>What would your life be like if you truly subscribed to a life dedicated to the pursuit of virtue and knowledge?  Virtue keeps you out of trouble and focused on your goals and knowledge put into practice leads to wisdom.</p> <p>Think about this quote from Dante..."Consider your origins, you were not formed to live like brutes, but to follow virtue and knowledge".  I would change one word in this quote.  I would change the word follow to pursue.  Following is too passive; you must pursue the things you seek.  The new quote would be "Consider your origins, you were not formed to live like brutes, but to pursue virtue and knowledge".    </p>
