What Happened During the Tarmac Meeting? – An Interview with Christopher Sign

On this episode of Blunt Force Truth, Chuck and Mark are joined by Christopher Sign. Christopher was the one to break the Bill Clinton and Loretta Lynch secret tarmac meeting story. He is also the author of the Secret on the Tarmac and is currently an anchor at ABC 33/40 in Birmingham, Alabama.  <br />They kick off today’s show by hearing the full story from Christopher and how he was able to land this landmark story. They discuss the details that we do know, and more importantly, what the government has kept from the American people. <br />They also discuss what could come from this story and how other investigations could reveal more details. Christopher explains that he is continuing to answer the unknown questions from this secret meeting. Worth area, Christopher first moved to Alabama after being recruited by Coach Gene Stallings. He played four years under Stallings and Coach Mike Dubose on full scholarship for the<br />Crimson Tide. <br />With the help of Stallings and DuBose, the University of Alabama graduate got his first job in Montgomery as a reporter where he got his first taste of politics. <br />Then it was off to Midland/Odessa Texas where Christopher covered the oil & gas industry and many of the area’s top stories. <br />Christopher and his wife, a former University of Alabama volleyball player, made their way Birmingham working for ABC 33/40 as a reporter covering some of the most well-known stories in our state including the Brookwood deadly mine explosion. Christopher’s coverage of a deadly Tuscaloosa tornado earned him a national Edward R. Murrow award. He earned several other awards including an Associated Press and regional Murrow
