If you’ve been a Christian for any amount of time, you’ve probably heard someone say this: “I don’t understand how someone who calls themselves a Christian could do that … agree with that … say that.” We all have an idea of what following Jesus should look like, but our views are often shaped by our circumstances and the opinions of others. If we were to strip away outside influences, what would a follower of Jesus actually look like?
