Our study continues with What did Jesus Do at the Cross and now at His resurrection. Here we are dealing with the literal physical resurrection of the body, both of the saved and of the unsaved. Dr. Mitchell turns first to John 5:27-29 where we hear Jesus' words as to His authority to raise the dead either for life or for judgment. He then goes on to share several other scriptures, both in the New Testament and the Old, that substantiate the truth of physical resurrection. He notes, this is the great message of the early church. Jesus Himself assures us that He is the resurrection and the life.
