What Black People Can Learn from Coronavirus
Dounia & Ihssas
Description

In this episode I speak on how this year brought to the surface some factors that black Americans face such as pre-existing health conditions and overweight/obesity concerns. Along with the police killings against black people, which has been a longstanding concern, but has been recently brought to the surface again, this can add more stress to the health of black people. The same can be said for the economy and the healthcare system and the additional disparities that black people already face.

I hope that this episode offers a reminder to the lessons we can learn in regards to improving our health and seeking to find alternatives to bridge the gaps in the disparities.

Our minds are powerful and our perspectives also play a major role as well in the changes that can be made individually and on a collective level.

Don't forget that you can find me on other platforms listed below:

https://www.instagram.com/choosetolivehealthier

https://www.facebook.com/choosetolivehealthier

https://twitter.com/mslildesi

--- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/naturalholisticlady/support
