Welcome to...The Bear

<p>This week, for our season 3 finale, we decided to cover a show that we - like everyone else - can&#39;t stop thinking and talking about: <em>FX&#39;s </em>Emmy nominated, critically acclaimed hit show <em>The Bear </em>(also streaming on <em>Hulu </em>and <em>Disney+</em>). With two seasons out, it is obvious that this is not a fluke and that those behind the page and the lens have worked hard to tell this story about family (both blood and chosen), hard work, and grief with intention and precision. The performances - which include one of the most enviable lists of guest stars we&#39;ve seen in a while (Olivia Coleman! Sarah Paulson!) - are stellar, the (food) cinematography mouth watering and creative, and the writing grounded yet deeply moving and as close to real feeling as it gets - even in those 7 minute monologues.
