<p>Last week, Kengen reported a 94.6% decline in net profit to Ksh 1.2 billion following higher tax expenses. Revenue was up 4% to Ksh 4.5 billion attributed to geothermal, hydro and diversification projects. Kenya Power bounced back to profitability reporting a Ksh 1.5 billion net profit, a 216% jump in pretax profit and 17% dip in operating expenses.
