Wisdom from the Abbey–Mother Hilda–We Have The Cure (Mother Hilda says we can learn a lot about loving God from St Therese of Lisieux. Known as the Saint of the Little Way because, by her own admission, she never did anything great, she just did a lot of little things and kept giving them to God. Her life was no easier than yours and mine, she was no stranger to depression and the human challenges that you and I face. The difference was that she kept in close contact with God and let him have a say in what was happening to her. If the ills of this world are ours, then through our loving God, the cure is ours as well. We have the medicine for this world in our own hands. Let's use it this week.)
