Living the Gospel–Pete Gilmore–Pieces (Pete asks does your life feel like you have a dozen spinning plates that you're desperately trying to keep spinning, but don't have enough hands, don't have enough attention, to do it all. Sleepless, filled with tension, our minds race and even the idea of rest fills us with dread, because everything is always on the edge of falling apart and it feels like your life is in pieces. That is precisely what we're invited to do, to place all the pieces of our life into the hands of Jesus. Jesus is the prince of peace, the one who restores what is broken, the one who pulls all the pieces of us back together, often in more beautiful ways than we could have ever imagined. As we look around the world, we see a lot of anxiety, people and communities and nations being pulled apart. We can't solve all that, but we can cast our cares upon Jesus, the one who cares who can put us back together, restore us, and bring people together, he can change hearts.)
